Greater Sage-Grouse (GRSG) Planning and Implementation

In response to the 2010 US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) finding that the Greater Sage-Grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus) was "warranted, but precluded" for listing as a threatened or endangered species (75 Federal Register 13910, March 23, 2010), the Bureau of Land Management, as the lead agency in a partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, completed an unprecedented effort to perform 15 Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) across the species' range. The resulting Resource Management Plan (RMP) revisions and amendments provide a set of management actions and specific conservation measures to address the threats identified in the 2010 USFWS "warranted, but precluded" decision. This data portal provides access to geospatial data, maps and documents related to the EISs, RMPs and other sage-grouse resources such as BLM's contributions to the Conservation Efforts Database (CED) and the BLM's Greater Sage-Grouse Baseline Environmental Report (BER).
